Increase your confidence using your assistive technology through one-on-one virtual sessions

Hi, I’m Annie. I was born with a visual impairment, and I’ve been passionate about assistive technology my entire life. Now I’m offering virtual, one-on-one tutoring for students and adults with visual impairments who want to feel confident and independent using their technology.
Assistive technology can be life-changing—but only when it’s used effectively. My goal is to help you build real-world skills so you can navigate your devices with greater ease, troubleshoot challenges, and use the tools available to you with confidence at home, at school, and at work.
I bring both professional expertise and an education background to my tutoring:
-
B.S. in Communications from Belmont University, with a Minor in Education
-
2 years as a Paraprofessional
-
3 years as an Accessibility Specialist
-
Currently a Human Resources Generalist, with experience supporting people and solving practical workplace challenges
Whether you’re new to assistive technology or looking to strengthen your skills, I provide supportive, personalized instruction designed around your goals. Let’s make your technology work for you.
Motivator and positive tutor in assistive technology
Each student and adult with a visual impairment uses different assistive technology to meet their specific needs. If you are interested in getting more practice with your assistive technology, and working through questions you have please contact me. Virtual sessions are one hour each at a time. I look forward to working with you.
